Lightweight cotton poplin is woven into a neat, fine, all-over striped texture. A special plain-weave technique gives the fabric a distinct, fine grain. It is lightweight and sheer, with a smooth, dry hand. The cotton base is naturally breathable and moisture-absorbent, so it feels airy rather than stuffy. It drapes lightly with a degree of structure and is less prone to sagging or wrinkling. The stripes are woven with colored yarn, creating clear, crisp color boundaries and even, straight lines that are less prone to shifting or bleeding. The fabric receives proper finishing for a smooth, clean surface. It withstands everyday washing and is less prone to pilling, balancing comfort with a neat appearance.
The DoubleL mark at the chest is embroidered with a total of 1157 machine stitches on a Tajima computerized embroidery machine. The stitching is fine and even, and the lines flow smoothly with naturally shaped letter curves and no stiff breaks. The stitches are dense and secure, each placed carefully. They resist fuzzing and thread separation during washing and are less likely to loosen or deform after repeated washes. After embroidery, the edges of the design are neatly finished, with no floating threads or loose ends, giving the details a refined look.
The buttonholes use a refined lockstitch technique, with dense, even stitches following the buttonhole outline. The seams are firm and smooth, with carefully finished corners and clean, square openings that are less prone to fraying or loose threads. The buttonhole edges are reinforced with lockstitching to resist tearing from repeated fastening and pulling. They are neatly aligned with the striped fabric.
