Burberry Double-Yarn Twill Two-Way Hooded Jacket
This is the premium version of the large-check Burberry jacket, featuring a unique double-faced design that can be worn on either side. The jacket is made from a specially woven and dyed twill fabric, with multiple precise patchwork operations throughout the garment. This results in significant fabric loss, especially for the large-check pattern. Each piece of the twill face requires more than 3 meters of fabric, and the labor cost is extremely high to ensure a perfect match with the original design.
The front label on the chest is a new version specifically designed for this jacket, going through three rounds of pattern adjustments. The hardware, including the drawstrings, is all custom-made, and the care label is brand new. This version is the highest quality, allowing for easy comparison with the original.
Burberry was founded by Thomas Burberry in 1856 and is renowned for its iconic gabardine trench coat, representing British fashion. The current creative director, Riccardo Tisci, based in London, continues the brand's pioneering spirit, infusing modern and streetwear elements into its classic British designs.
