Originally purchased for 19,800; development took 2 months. Custom-spun woolen yarn was softened for a skin-friendly, non-scratchy feel. The color was dyed 3 times in an effort to achieve the original-version color.
The embroidered chest-letter design uses color-matched, custom-dyed matte thread and dense close-stitch embroidery. The motif is embroidered with a Tajima machine using ten-thousand-stitch embroidery; the fine, dense stitching has no connecting threads, and the motif is clear, with strong line definition and relief, adding spatial depth to the overall design. The flat-knitted panels use imported three-needle extra-coarse-gauge knitting. The buttons are custom genuine horn. The cost is high; no expense is spared to achieve the effect. The complete garment weighs 1400 grams. The set of three labels and trims is complete.
