The wool fabric is color-matched and custom-dyed to a 1:1 reference to the original. It is knitted with 48/2 superfine worsted wool yarn containing 50% wool. The worsted wool has a smooth surface, clear texture and compact structure, and feels soft and comfortable. The treated wool feels especially soft against the skin. It provides good warmth, and Basolan wool performs even better in this respect. Its color is attractive and long-lasting, enhancing the appearance of wool garments.
The sweater is knitted on an imported German 14G machine. The pattern is recreated from a fully hand-counted drawing. It takes 240 minutes to knit the complete garment panels. Each piece is then hand-linked and finished with high-quality stitch finishing, hand stitch adjustment and manual removal of loose threads. The production cycle for a bulk order is at least 15 days.
