To achieve the precise texture and body of the fabric, all ready-made fabrics on the market were rejected. A fully processed woven fabric with high yarn count and high density was specially developed. Both warp and weft use combed long-staple cotton blended with a trace amount of high-tech polyester. By adjusting loom settings and yarn tension, the fabric has a fine, dense, crisp feel. Its surface has an extremely subtle texture rather than the flat sheen of ordinary fabric. This density helps the jacket silhouette stay structured and durable, resisting deformation with extended wear.
Color is the soul of this piece. “Harrington Khaki” is not ordinary khaki, but a composite tone developed through repeated color-correction trials. Imported eco-friendly dyes are used in a dye-first, then finishing process. Colorfastness is very high, and the color penetrates to the fiber core to ensure lasting, even color and prevent the surface dye cast associated with inexpensive fabric. “Juki” JUKI professional sewing equipment is used. A specified stitch length ensures even, secure, attractive stitching.
All seams are bound so no raw edges are visible. Key stress points are double-knotted or reinforced, greatly improving durability. A multi-head Tajima electronic embroidery machine reproduces the design at speeds above 1000 rotations per minute and with 0.1 mm precision; every letter corner and curved edge is crisp, with no jaggedness. Throughout the jacket’s manufacturing process, every inner seam is finely finished, and every stage meets exceptionally high technical and aesthetic standards. It goes beyond “mass-market goods” pieced together from ready-made materials, presenting a deep understanding of Prada-style aesthetics and craftsmanship. h
