Made with custom double-layer composite blended pile fabric and imported machine-embroidered leather-patch detailing. The raised relief embroidery is hand-cranked: artisans use a hand-operated warp-and-weft technique to make every letter, while a hand-operated embroidery frame controls the direction of the thread. 3 thicknesses of embroidery thread are alternately layered, making the letter edges rise naturally like miniature relief sculpture.
The fully hand-worked process involves disassembly after wet processing. After the lining and cotton padding are initially joined, artisans make further adjustments and disassemble them in water, allowing the lining and padding to fit together perfectly and creating a tighter, neater, more attractive finish.
